About Us

We offer BU's central forum for discussion on international issues

Our mission is to promote awareness of political and economic issues in the international arena throughout the University. We achieve this by organising events and talks in order to give members the opportunity to learn and participate in discussion and debates

Activities

•We organise a series of talks by ambassadors, lecturers, postgraduate students, political theorists, media writers and reporters to raise awareness of particular political and economic issues in the international arena

•We organise and lead an annual trip to visit the UN in New York and to Washinton D.C. during the Easter break

•We organise a variety of discussion groups, pub quizzes, and particular events throughout the year to engage the membership and wider student body with international issues
